XOOM Energy Celebrates Contribution of Over $171,000 to PetSmart Charities® in 2021

XOOM Energy is excited to announce that through our continued partnership with PetSmart Charities® and our RescueLock 12 customers assistance, XOOM Energy contributed a total of $171,866 to PetSmart Charities in 2021. The 2021 contribution brings our partnership total to over $601,000. XOOM Energy and PetSmart Charities would like to thank all of our RescueLock customers for their continued support.

An estimated 7 million pets enter shelters every year, while nearly 3 million never find a forever home. PetSmart Charities has helped 10 million pets find a home to date. That’s 2 out of every 10 pet adoptions in North America.  

 Each contribution made to PetSmart Charities helps fund initiatives such as adoptions at PetSmart stores and other locations, rescue programs, spay and neuter surgeries, emergency relief, and service animal and pet therapy training programs.

PetSmart Charities efficiently uses more than 90 cents of every dollar donated to fulfill its role as the leading funder of animal welfare in North America, granting more than $500 million since its inception in 1994. This has helped PetSmart Charities earn the Four-Star Rating from Charity Navigator for the past 18 years in a row.
