RescueLock Customers Helped Contribute over $209,000 to date to PetSmart Charities®!

XOOM Energy, LLC is proud to be partnered with PetSmart Charities as we continue our shared goal to end pet homelessness and find pets their forever homes. Thanks to RescueLock customers, XOOM Energy is thrilled to announce a contribution amount of over $209,000 to date to PetSmart Charities.  

The 5% of RescueLock customer's monthly energy charges that were contributed helped support PetSmart Charities to provide funding to nonprofit organizations aligned with PetSmart Charities’ mission: to find lifelong, loving homes for pets by supporting programs that bring people and pets together.

An estimated 7 million pets enter shelters every year, while nearly 3 million never find a forever home. PetSmart Charities has helped 8 million pets find a home to date. That’s 2 out of every 10 pet adoptions in North America. 

Each donation made to PetSmart Charities helps fund initiatives such as adoptions at PetSmart stores and other locations, rescue programs, spay and neuter surgeries, emergency relief, and service animal and pet therapy training programs. More than 90 cents of every dollar spent goes to help pets in need, earning PetSmart Charities, a top four-star rating through Charity Navigator for 15 years in a row.
